Cabin substructure consists of 40' X 40' heavy I-beam steel subframe resting on steel-reinforced concrete pierposts.
I-beam subframe with natural stone skirt (front perspective view). These substructure views were created with SketchUp by importing Google Earth terrain data to accurately show slope of the ground at the build site. Very cool feature.
